Summer starts soon. There are roughly 100 days of summer, are you ready for fun? For creating the first steps to the life you’ve dreamed about? For designing your home or garden? Think of the friendships, habits or to add more fun could all happen over the next 100 days.
Starting May 27th and over the next 100 days we’ll:
- Create outdoor living spaces, kitchens, places to entertain, rooms for guests. Could your summer rooms use a boost?
- Start a journal to explore our thoughts and ideas. It will be a place to make plans. Also to capture summer activities and adventures. How will you keep your memories of this summer?
- Spend some time exploring places, hobbies and ideas. Are ready to step out of the house and find new interests?
- While spending time reconnecting with ourselves, family and friends. Isn’t it time to enjoy the summer sunshine?
I know 100 days sounds like a lot but we have over 14 weeks to explore and have fun this summer. While maybe checking a few projects off our to-do lists. This is set up for an easy fun summer. Please join me, sign up here or at least give me a minute to explain the adventure.
Outdoor Spaces
Our Outdoor Spaces are used much more during the summer months. So let’s focus on creating beautiful porches, patios, outdoor kitchen or BBQ spaces that fit how we want to use them this summer. Then let’s jump into our guest rooms to create a relaxing space for the special people we invite into our homes. There is a seperate design class to walk you through the process if you are starting from scratch. If you are just needing a refresh, there will be blogs and fun sheets to help you tweak your spaces throughout these 100 days.
Summer’s Journal
The Summer Journal is for fun, for introspection, for organization and for setting new tiny habits or BHAGs (Big Hairy Audacious Goals). We’re going to set one up to capture our summer – our thoughts, activities and adventures. How will you keep your memories of this summer? Write, sketch, photos, scrapbook…
On-line Zoom Classes
There will be on-line live zoom classes on the second Thursday and then the third Saturday or Sunday afternoon of the month. These will be floral arranging classes, an afternoon with herbs, creating tablescapes, journal classes for resetting the new year’s goals in July, plus a how-to plan for a room remodel. Here is the link for you to learn more and sign up.
DIY Projects
Finally, I will be showing you DIY projects via YouTube or step-by-step blogs. Plus giving you journal prompts, gardening projects, decorating tips and get-together ideas throughout the summer via a weekly email. So please sign up now to get the weekly Monday email. If you have any questions please email or message me and we can chat.
Let’s get Started
To get started grab a journal, notebook or binder (you can print out the fun sheets and put them in it). And start now with the first fun sheet – My Summer Fun List. Think of it as your Summer Bucket List. Extra credit if you fill it out while listening to your favorite summer playlist ~ wink. Double extra is you sip on your favorite summer beverage while doing it ~ yes this is going to be fun. If you are wondering “Why?”. “Why all this?” It is simple but Life is Art and we need to love the ordinary in every day. I wrote a very short blog on it here.
PS ~ Personally I have two BHAGs this summer – one is to finish the renovation of my home and the second I will tell you about in a few weeks. Finally, here is a picture of me filling out my Curated Life Journal with my Summer Fun List. What does your Summer Fun List look like? Fill out your list and after that please share a picture in the Facebook group. If you’re not a member please join our private Facebook group (here). Lastly, don’t forget to sign up for the weekly newsletter.
