3 Steps to a Festive & Easy Fourth of July Party

Celebrate Independence Day in Style without a lot of work. Do these 3 steps, and then sit back and enjoy the day. Let’s make it an easy Fourth of July celebration.

Step 1 – Hang Bunting and Flags to Add Festivity

First, one of the quickest ways to add a patriotic theme is to drape bunting over railings or from the eaves. You can also hang flags from the porch columns, place flags along the walkway, or put little flags in your flower pots.

Step 2 – Add touches of Red, White & Blue.

Secondly, gather red, white, and blue items from around the house to create your color theme. That is the fantastic thing about the 4th of July: once the items are together, the colors flow into the harmony of the occasion. Place them along walkways, sitting areas, and by the front door—these areas the eye will be directed to as they move around the party.

Step 3 – Finish off with Red, White & Blue Flowers and Food

Lastly, add in the small patriotic touches—flowers and food. Add red, white, and blue to floral arrangements in many ways. I have included a few here. Also, create a few plates of food focusing on red, white, and blue. These are an excellent addition to the holiday bar-b-que. Remember, this is to make an easy Fourth of July with family and friends.
