10 Reasons to Start a Creative Journal.

Reasons to Start a Creative Journaling

I call it my Curated Life Journal. And these are the reasons to start a Creative Journal.

Curated Life Journal, What is it?

It is a Notebook or Journal for your life broken down into dreams, goals and activities. What reasons did I have for starting a Creative Journal? This blog will give my reasons to start a Creative Journal. My big reason to starting it was I needed a way to reclaim my life. The journal is my personal self-help book, it is My Self-Adventure Journal. In other words, it illustrates how I am curating my life in a book. I wrote another blog on my journal and you can visit it here.

A Curated Life Journal is my form of a creative planner bullet journal that has been popular for a while. This method was created over the years to help me create rich routines, achieve goals and explore ideas. The journal has helped me work through a few of life’s speed bumps while documenting my way back to finding the enjoyments in life. This past year has brought us back to ourselves and what is important to us. I think it has also shown us things we want more creativity into our lives. My journal does all that plus pulls together all the loose notes I use to have lying around. To clarify, the reasons I started a Creative Journal follows.

Top 10 reasons I use my Journal:

  1. Track Resolutions / Goals
  2. Keep Affirmations Top of Mind
  3. Builds Rich Routines
  4. Tracker of Finances, Moods, Fitness/Diet, Gardening
  5. Monthly Calendar
  6. Work Through a Problems
  7. Catcher of Ideas, Thoughts and Activities
  8. Write Notes on Books You’ve Read & Podcasts You’ve Listened To
  9. Help Ease Brain Clutter
  10. Ways to dream adventures
